Instructor Jan McAndrew - Beginning Tribal Belly Dance - FCBD®Style is an enjoyable method of improvisational choreography, using a vocabulary of natural movements and cues allowing the dancers to communicate via gesture and eye contact when dancing together as a group, allowing each person to lead when they feel ready.  FCBD®Style is a fusion dance form.  The movements are inspired by folkloric dances of the Middle East, North Africa, Spain, and India.  It is a uniquely modern creation that does not represent an “authentic” dance from any particular region. We work with you on posture, body consciousness and self-confidence. Moderate and self-paced This class is gender friendly. Yoga style clothing preferred; Tight fitting top, leggings (& long 25+ yard or full circle skirt recommended, but not necessary.) Bare feet or dance shoes. Bring your own water. No Class 2/20
